Academic Enrichment Program Dates
PreK-K
Week 1- June 10th-14th, 2019
Week 2- June 17th- 21st, 2019

The Academic Enrichment Program (AEP) at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Center for Gifted Education is committed to serving gifted and high potential students. Our programs are designed to support the development of talent in high ability and gifted learners.

Students must qualify for admission to the Center for Gifted Education programs.

Our screening window for admission to the Center for Gifted Education is closed we will reopen after the beginning of the Fall 2019 semester. Please call 337-482-6701 or email gifted@louisiana.edu with any questions.

Pre-K classes, for children 4 to 5 years of age, are designed to engage and nurture students’ developing strengths in language arts, number sense, problem-solving, and the arts.

Admission

Returning Students

Students previously accepted into the Center for Gifted Education programs have the status of Returning students. Beginning in 2018-2019 ALL students must submit a parent checklist and teacher checklist to be considered for admission to the Center for Gifted Education.

There will be a class fee per student.

New Students

Students must qualify for admission to the Center for Gifted Education. Beginning in 2018-2019 ALL students must pay a $25.00 application fee and submit a parent checklist and a teacher checklist to be considered for admission to the Center for Gifted Education.

Qualification for the PreK-K grade group will be via required parent checklist and teacher checklist. 

There will be a class fee per student.
