Association for Gifted and Talented Students Louisiana (AGTSLA) is a statewide organization of individual members who work to serve as a resource for families, communities, and educational professionals who advocate for and support gifted and talented individuals and their education. The organization has four objectives: to provide leadership, to advocate, to educate, and to network.

The Governor's Program for Gifted Children

The Governor's Program for Gifted Children offers seven weeks of academic enrichment, artistic opportunity, and friendship. A residential program at McNeese State University since 1959, the GPGC is the oldest and most comprehensive enrichment program for gifted students in Louisiana.
