Academic Enrichment Program (Grades 1-6)

Dates have been set for our Rising 1st through 6th Grade Academic Enrichment Program!

These dates are:
Week 1: June 4th through June 8th
Week 2: June 11th through June 15th

New Program Format
Pre-K - K and Rising 1st - 6th ONLY
     Monday - Friday
     8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

The Academic Enrichment Program (AEP) at University of Louisiana at Lafayette is committed to serving gifted and high potential students.

Students must qualify for admission to the Center for Gifted Education's Programs.

Our Screening window for admission to the Center for Gifted Education is Open. Please call 337-482-6701, or email, gifted@louisiana.edu today to inquire about admission.

Students in 1st through 3rd grade that do not have standardized tests, and have not been identified as Gifted/Talented will need an in-person screening.

Older students with standardized tests scores may qualify for Test Score Reviews.

Admission

Returning Students

Students previously accepted into The Center for Gifted Education's programs have the status of Returning students.

Returning students may follow registration instructions for classes.  Please contact the Center for Gifted Education for a Registration packet.

There will be a class fee per student.

New Students

Students must qualification for admission to the Center for Gifted Education.

Qualification is through school testing (Achievement Test scores or Parish Gifted Program) or by assessment through the Center for Gifted Education.
