Graduates of UL Lafayette’s Elementary Education program can pursue careers in a variety of fields, including:

• Elementary School Teachers
• School Administrators
• Instructional Specialist or Instructional Coordinators
• Child Care Providers
• Child Advocates Working in Education Related Organizations
• Tutors
• Trainers
• Instructional designers
• Instructional Materials Sales Representatives

Students who graduate from this program will receive certification from the Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE) to teach children in grades 1 through 5.
