EDCI Department Head Search

In accordance with UL Lafayette’s Procedures for Selecting Department Heads, the College of Education & Human Development is seeking to fill four faculty slots on the search committee for the EDCI Department Head.

The committee will consist of two members appointed by the Dean. The Dean has appointed Mrs. Cindy Duhon to be a member of the committee and appointed Dr. Peter Sheppard to serve as chair of the committee.

One faculty member from each of the four faculty ranks (instructor, assistant professor, associate professor, and professor) will serve on the committee based on faculty vote.

Please cast your vote prior to Friday, November 8, 2024. The department will be notified no later than Wednesday, November 13, 2024 with the results from the ballot.

Each nominee listed on the ballot has expressed prior interest in serving on the committee and has agreed to be on the ballot that follows. Please select one name from each rank.
