Academic Enrichment Program (Grades 1-6)

The Academic Enrichment Program (AEP) at University of Louisiana at Lafayette is committed to serving gifted and high potential students.

Qualification is mandatory for Admission to the Center for Gifted Education's Programs.

Screening window is closed. We will begin screening again after the beginning of the Fall 2017 Semester! Please call 337-482-6701, or email, gifted@louisiana.edu today to inquire about admission.

Students in 1st through 3rd grade that do not have standardized tests, and have not been identified as Gifted will need an in person screening.

Older students with standardized tests scores may qualify for Test Score Reviews.

Admission

Returning Students

Students previously accepted into The Center for Gifted Education's programs have the status of Returning students.

Returning students may follow registration instructions for classes.  Please contact the Center for Gifted Education for a Registration packet.

There will be a class fee per student.

New Students

Qualification is mandatory for admission to the Center for Gifted Education.

Qualification achievement is through school testing (Achievement Test scores or Parish Gifted Program) or by assessment through the Center for Gifted Education.
