Academic Enrichment Program (Grades 1-6)

The Academic Enrichment Program (AEP) at University of Louisiana at Lafayette is committed to serving gifted and high potential students.

If you have not received registration information and your child has been admitted to the Center for Gifted Education please contact us!

Screening window is closed. The screening window will re-open for screening assessments soon. Please call 337-482-6701, or email, gifted@louisiana.edu to inquire about admission.

Qualification is mandatory for Admission to the Center for Gifted Education's Programs.

Students in Pre-K through 3rd grade that do not have standardized tests, and have not been identified as Gifted will need an in person screening. Older students with standardized tests scores may qualify for Test Score Reviews.

Admission

Returning Students

Students previously accepted into The Center for Gifted Education's programs have the status of Returning students.

Returning students may follow registration instructions for classes.  Please contact the Center for Gifted Education for a Registration packet.

There will be a class fee per student.

New Students

Qualification is necessary for admission to the Center for Gifted Education.

Qualification achievement is through school testing (Achievement Test scores or Parish Gifted Program) or by assessment through the Center for Gifted Education. 

Qualification Assessments through The Center for Gifted Education will resume later in 2016.
