Developing Mindset to Support Growth

Saturday, November 12, 2016 - 9:30am to 11:00am

Children and parents alike often struggle with a mindset that promotes perfectionism that stunts growth. In this workshop, you can learn how to move past perfectionism. Kids (grades K-10th) will engage in challenge tasks that promote learning as a continuous process. Parents will learn techniques and terminology that promote a growth mindset and resilience in everyday tasks. The content of this workshop connects to Dr. Carol Dweck’s work on mindsets and the design thinking process as developed by the Stanford D. School.
